“The Morning Glow" reflects the dual nature within each of us, embodying both strength (hard) and vulnerability (soft) as we navigate life's myriad challenges. This artwork harmonises the rigidity of steel with the softness of delicate curtain scraps and yarn, creating a vivid interplay of textures and layers of representation.

[INSPIRATION]

In collaboration with Everyday Curtains, these sculpture are inspired by the harmony of hard and soft materials. 

The twirling steel structure, resembling a ribbon, mirrors the ebb and flow of life. It’s rigidity nature represents life's structural challenges and the strength required to overcome them, while the softness of the yarn and fabric evokes the gentleness, flexibility, and warmth needed to navigate these moments with grace.

Through "The Morning Glow," viewers are invited to reflect on their own journeys, finding inspiration in the balance of hard and soft elements that resonate with the human experience. This piece serves as a reminder of the vibrant energy within us all, capturing the promise of a new day that comes with a clean slate each morning and keep moving forward.

"The Morning Glow" is conceptualised and handmade by Alicia C.Kirwan. A multi-sensory fibre art wall hanging that adds a soothing and sophisticated touch to any wall in your home with its whimsical details.

Easy to install. As you hang it, gently guide your fingers through the strand with a comb, and dust it using a hairdryer to blow at low, cool heat.
